Injury at trampoline park leads to business litigation

Running any type of business is tricky. Depending on the product or service that a company offers, owners and operators often have to consider ways to keep their clients or customers safe and to run a successful business. Of course, if an accident happens on a company's premises, business litigation could result.

Florida readers may be interested in a lawsuit currently underway in another state. According to reports, the case was brought by a 34-year-old woman who is making claims against a trampoline park after she was injured at the establishment. Apparently, the woman was on a trampoline in an area for customers over the age of seven. While trying to perform a backflip, the woman stated that several children came into the area, and she had to adjust her flip to avoid hitting the kids.

During the attempt, the woman reportedly ended up hurting her knee, and she required multiple surgeries as a result. She claims that the establishment did not have enough employee supervision presumably to ensure that this type of incident did not occur. Representation for the trampoline park did not offer any comment for the report.

Facing legal claims can be difficult for any business. However, such claims are not unexpected as most businesses will face some type of client or customer dispute at some point. Still, when faced with this type of dilemma, Florida business owners will certainly want to ensure that they understand their defense options. Consulting with their legal counsel regarding how to handle specific business litigation issues could allow them to find the best options for their particular cases.
